Samaha was born in Hurghada, Egypt in 2013.
The exact date was not very clear but we celebrated her birthday on April 1st.

Samaha was found by Gustavo in a difficult time. Their life was hard at the beginning but they shared everything. In September 2013, they moved to Turkey with the illusion of a better future. Gustavo couldn’t speak the language and didn't have a job, but he wished to offer Samaha a better life.

First they lived in a shared flat with many limitations, but they were already very happy.
Later, Gustavo got a good job as engineer in Ä°zmir, and was able to travel and see the world with Samaha. She loved the beach, the forest, to ride a car and just to be by his side.

Years later he moved to Poland and both had a beautiful flat. Samaha enjoyed laying down on her bed next to the window while checking people passing by. She had many toys and felt like a child to him. Together they traveled through Poland.
In Christmas 2017, they visited Czech Republic and stayed at a castle in the mountains. Samaha loved the snow, long walks in the nature and seeing wild animals. They also visited Switzerland, France, Luxembourg and Germany.
Their time in Poland is a good memory, they became mature together but moved back to Turkey in 2019.
Once established there, Gustavo started helping street animals, while proving also vet care.
Samaha loved to be Gustavo’s little girl and their bond became strong. In their hearts was still place for other strays. In 2020, both helped very ill dog living in the street, Beyaz, who also became part of their family. Hachi and Lucky joined later.
Samaha was the leader of the Pack but for us, she was also an angel who helped Gustavo to find a purpose in life.
Samaha died in 2023 from a heart attack. Hopefully we are going to meet her again in heaven, where she surely is. Today, thanks to Samaha and our other rescued dogs, we understand they suffer and need our help. We are happy and proud to say that Samaha’s Garden has already 23 happy dogs.
